About Me

Who am I?

My name is Rachel Allish Zamora.  I hope to influence others with the truth I have personally experienced in my life.  I graduated from Christ For The Nations Institute in the spring of 2011.  I’m currently on staff as Social Media Manager for CFNI and also a CSR at Million Air Dallas.  I’ve learned that favor with God trumps favor with man–everytime.  He is so good.

Throughout my life  God has proved Himself to be redemptive by nature.  I was raised by the most incredible mother from Costa Rica,  she has inspired me to push myself beyond my human and fleshly limitations and cling to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.  Now, I have an amazing step-dad, and I’m proud to have the best parents on the planet!  I have seven awesome brothers and sisters who have truly encouraged and tested my integrity on a daily basis.  I owe them for teaching me to smile, laugh and cry all at the same time.  I love my family.

My heart is moved for hurting people,  including those who don’t realize they are.  I believe we can all give back in some shape or form;  whether it’s donating our time, energy, or resources.  We have a responsibility to find the True Joy in life while instilling and encouraging Him in others’.  I enjoy a variety of things from ballet and singing, to martial arts, modeling and fashion.  I love spending time with family and friends–both new and old.

What is my testimony?

I was raised in a thriving Christian household.  Growing up I had always acknowledged Jesus Christ and trusted Him as supreme in my life.  After a turn of heart wrenching events and disappointments, my faith in Jesus Christ faltered and I walked away.  My mother’s faith and views weren’t enough to get me through; I had to hit rock bottom on my own.  After walking down a path of dead-ends and redundant let downs, reality hit me; I had left behind the only stable and trustworthy source in my life.

After a two years of a reckless lifestyle; with my knees on the carpet and my hands raised high, I rededicated my life to Jesus Christ.  He has proved Himself faithful time and time again. My life has never been so rewarding. Though circumstances can take a turn for the worst and people will let you down at times; I’ve learned that I will never be satisfied without Him.  It is my daily effort to walk out this life according to God’s standards.  His love, hope, joy and acceptance is matchless and will never expire or become void.  This is the reason I breathe; this is why I live.

Why do I write?

I used to find myself organizing my thoughts and inspirations on paper instead of communicating them verbally.  At thirteen, I decided to venture out and start a neighborhood newsletter for the surrounding Air Park residents.  For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for writing.  I write in hopes of encouraging others to express their heart in the ways which make them alive.  Whether that is art, music, or speech.  I feel we should accomplish the task assigned to us by any and all means possible.  Firstly in our lifestyle and secondly in our personal spheres of influence.  My heart’s goal and deepest desire is that my lifestyle would be more of Him and less of me.  Only together will we become “all things, to all men, by all means — to save some.”

I haven’t read them all but i will. You are an awesome orator. The way God reveals Himself to you will inspire millions. Get ready for this season. Stay in prayer, humility and live in His Grace. I love you, my daughter and I’m exicted to see how God is manifesting Himself in your life. Keep following hard after His righteousness. It will exalt a nation.

Keep writing, Rachel. Words have more power than the greatest armies. It was with the word that God created the world and with His Word that he reconciled that world to himself. Whether you change one life or many, know the great responsibility that comes when you put that pen on the page and your fingers find the letters that paint your thoughts on paper. Write not too much or too little, but just enough. Blessings, Will.

And you found out about where you were setting your trust on! Good stuff. Felt as if I was reading an excerpt from a well written inspiration book! Keep writing!!
